2011 saw Musley Bank Stables once again enjoy another hugely successful year.

Typical of racing, there have been some downs along the way, but overall, due to another massive team effort, coupled with rock-solid support from our loyal owners, we have sent out scores of winners. A creditable third in Britain's numerical leader board, Richard has retained his title for the sixth consecutive year as top trainer at York and Paul Hanagan has re-written the record books by winning back-to-back jockeys championship titles. Furthermore, in addition to accumulating more than £1.6m on home turf, we have scooped up prize money in Ireland, France and Germany, experienced our first runner in Macau and have several horses competitive enough to nominate for the Dubai carnival.

While it would be impossible to relive every exciting day and outstanding achievement, every awesome performance and brilliant ride, behind the images above we have touched on a selection of memorable moments throughout the 2011 season.
