Musley Bank Stables, situated in beautiful open countryside, just a mile out of the historic training centre of Malton in North Yorkshire, is a classic training complex.
The facilities include more than 150 stables, a newly-erected spacious indoor school, which is almost one-furlong in circumference and which encompasses lines of stables and an automatic horse-walker, one of six, which have been built to serve this thriving complex.
There is also a lunge-ring, an equine spa, more than 20 turn-out paddocks, grass and fully-railed all-weather gallops and schooling grounds on this private enclosed site, while extends to 120 acres and which is complemented, less than a mile away, by Cherry Tree Farm, which provides a peaceful base to horses, which are recovering from injury or illness, or those which are simply enjoying a holiday away from the training routine.
All in all, this is a ‘Hilton for horses’ establishment, a training site, which lacks nothing, and which is perfectly situated on the racing map.
Musley Bank is positioned mid-way between York and Scarborough, just off the A64, and is within easy reach of nine Yorkshire racecourses.
Furthermore, visitors to the yard travelling from further afield, can take advantage of the excellent two-hour GNER service from London King’s Cross to York, or alternatively fly to Leeds-Bradford, Durham Tees-Valley or Robin Hood-Doncaster, three airports which are little more than an hours’ drive from the yard.
